Week 1: 1.19.25 —Re-Starting Zepbound

Back on Track.

After a pause, As of 1/11/25, I’m officially back on Zepbound (tirzepatide). One shot down, and here’s the plan: stay consistent, listen to my body, and focus on building the right habits alongside the medication. I know how this works—appetite suppression kicks in over time, but the real key is hydration, protein, fiber, and movement.

For context, I started this journey on 1/1/2024 at about 10 lbs heavier than I am now, and steadily worked my way down about 25lbs by March. But by mid-year, I crept back up a few pounds—and then again in the fall as we were in the midst of purchasing a home—so here I am, recommitting.

This time, I am determined for it to stick. I’ve said that more than 1-million times in my life and I’m not sure what will be different now except that I know I’m ready to do — whatever it takes.
