Hi - I’m Paige. “Paige in Progress” blog was created when I recently decided to undergo VSG WLS - or vertical sleeve gastrectomy, weight loss surgery. This comes at 45, after pregnancy and stillbirth at 37-38, followed by an unsuccessful fertility journey (iui, ivf, etc) around 39-42, and adoption pursuits (approx 40-45). From approx 2017, I’ve put on an additional 100lbs, and I had already been overweight and obese — as far back as I can remember. That’s changing, now. Welcome to the journey.
